Cowden & Wilcox 1 Gallon Decorated Jug; Mid 19th Century; 11″ height, 1 handled stoneware jug, decorated with cobalt blue flower and stem, impressed at upper shoulder Cowden & Wilcox Harrisburg, has cobalt blue application where handle meets jug, Overall condition is outstanding and original, has very minor hairline in center of handle. The Gingham Dog Theatre Poster By Byrd; 1969; 22″ height, 14″ width, Original Broadway theater poster, Drawn in vivid colors by the well known poster artist David Byrd, The play Gingham Dog Starred Dianna Sands and George Grizzard directed by Alan Schneider and performed at the Golden Theatre on 45 St. Manhattan NY Broadway. Beautiful, bright, psychedelic colors, highlighting the cat in flowers and dog in red and white checkerboard pattern, with a bright beautiful yellow background. Classic of this time period and the movement of illustrated artwork from the 60’s/70’s. Condition. Absolutely all original, and unaltered with outstanding bright colors throughout. After very close inspection very minor edge ware, otherwise outstanding. This poster discovery has been retained in Mr. Moore’s estate collection since the mid 1970’s, and was gifted to him by a friend in New York City.
